The Fear Factor Scriptures

Fear of Failure
1."The sluggard says, 'There is a lion outside!' or 'I will be murdered in the streets!'"
(Proverbs 22:13)
2."for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity" (Proverbs 24:16).
3."The steps of a (good) man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way (and He busies Himself with his every step). Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him" (Psalm 37:23-24, Amplified).
4."Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving" (Colossians 3:23-24).
5."I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground" (Matthew 25:25).
6."And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).
7."Pursue them," he answered. "You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue" (1 Samuel 30:8).
8."What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil" (Job 3:25).
9."Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light" (Micah 7:8).
10."Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
11."For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
12."Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat – for he grants sleep to those he loves" (Psalm 127:1-2).
13."Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate" (Proverbs 31:30-31).
14."Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:35-36).
